Katie is a junior at Sacred Heart and is doing a double major in accounting and finance. Katie is a Welch Scholar, which is the highest honor awarded by Sacred Heart’s John F. Welch College of Business. She is also a member of the Delta Epsilon Sigma honor society and the Investment Management Program (IMP). Katie completed a tax accounting internship with McGladrey during the summer of 2011 and will be doing an internship with Deloitte during the summer of 2012. She also participates in several University choirs and is a tutor for accounting and finance classes as well as a mentor to incoming freshman to help ease their transition into college and involve them in the programs and activities offered by the College of Business.

James is a senior earning a Bachelor’s degree with a double major focusing on Finance and Economics. He also is a member of the Investment Management Program (IMP). He has completed a marketing and sales internship with Merrill Lynch and an operational management internship with UBS. James is also a recipient of the Sacred Heart University Trustee Scholarship, is the Vice President of the Sacred Heart Finance and Economics club and is a member of the University’s Student Investment Group.

He has been assertive in facilitating guest lecturers from the SCFAS, recognizing the value of having real-world experience within the classroom environment.
