RIA Kickoff Meeting

If you are a member of the Stamford CFA Society and a Registered Investment Advisor, please say hi! Incoming Corporate Outreach Committee chair Steve Mula, CFA and I will be working hard over the summer to come up with a program of activities that will be useful to the Private Wealth Management community here in the Fairfield and Westchester county areas.

We would like to chat with a small group of Registered Investment Advisors on Tuesday, June 28th 2011 over some burgers and beer at the SBC Restaurant and Brewery on 131 Summer Street in Stamford, CT. We will tell you about the exciting changes going on at the CFA Institute regarding the PWM community (hint: it’s one of the fastest growing), and what resources are available now to help you manage your business. Then we’ll talk about what meetings we have had with local service providers and PWM stakeholders to help guide us within the community. That’s where you come in.

Come say hi, and let us know what your business concerns are – maybe we can work together. So far it’s a pretty wide field of ideas – from succession planning, to platform usage, office management, business development and compliance – it seems many RIAs have their plates full. If there is anything the Stamford CFA Society can work with you on, you can let us know when we meet.

Just sign in and register. We need to know how to prepare for our kickoff RIA chat.

See you soon!
