Affiliate & Regular Members
The Affiliate and Regular member types are offered via CFAI. Cost is $375 to CFAI and $75 to SCFAS. These require that a prospective member join CFAI and SCFAS. If you are a CFA Charterholder or have passed Level III and are applying for your CFA Charter you would join SCFAS as either a Regular or Affiliate member. More information on these two membership types including experience, sponsorship requirements, dues, as well as the application process can be accessed here.
Adjunct Member
SCFAS also offers an Adjunct Membership which is ideal for students, professionals that are either in the early stages of the CFA Program (LI or LII candidates), and professionals and academics (professors) that do not intend to sit for the exam. Adjunct members have all of the privileges of Regular members except for the right to vote, hold office in the Society, and act as sponsors for membership. If you are not participating in the CFA Program then the Adjunct Membership may be appropriate for you.
Three easy steps to become a SCFAS adjunct member:
- Complete your profile including education and work, and add 2 sponsors who are SCFAS member or CFA charter holder;
- Your sponsors got emails and submit the sponsorship form for your application;
- Make a payment of $75 either by paypal, check, or cash to SCFAS;
