Key Accountabilities:
1. Establish and oversee the implementation of investment strategies, policies and asset allocation models. Analyze the financial condition and earnings capacity of companies to develop the approved list of holdings for the department. Execute trades and engage in active negotiations to purchase/sell securities at favorable prices. Negotiate and establish brokerage services. Demonstrate investment process and analytical framework that aligns with and/or will augment the department investment strategy. Stays abreast of relevant financial conditions and market trends. Provide investment advice. Meet regularly with other colleagues to review overall investment policies and to evaluate industry and security reports. 40%
2. Consult with personal and institutional clients to develop investment objectives. Provide advice and guidance on investment alternatives and financial trends. Coordinate financial planning. Maintain strong client relations to ensure client satisfaction. 40%
3. Identify and develop new business opportunities and obtain add-on business from existing clients by nurturing relationships and educating clients about services. Present investment strategies to personal; corporate/institutional prospects and conducts seminars to increase business volume in support of business growth goals. Assist others with new business presentations and closings. 20%
Education:
• BA or equivalent degree
• CFA strongly preferred
Experience:
10+ years’ portfolio management experience
