Stamford CFA Society members and guests had the unique opportunity to gather at Fairway Market in Stamford to experience first-hand the shared vision of growth and quality by both Sterling Investment Partners, a middle-market private equity business in Westport, CT and Fairway Market, headquartered in NYC.
Attendees heard from the very articulate Fairway Chief Administrative Officer, Bill Sanford, about the value proposition offered to customers and its competitive advantage in a hyper-competitive business. Surrounded by a wide selection of fresh foods, Fairway label items, specialty imports and eating arrangements, we heard passionate descriptions from Cheesemonger and food expert Steven Jenkins. He also explained the intricacies of globally sourcing the hundreds of varieties of cheeses and oils that give Fairway its unique characteristic.
